BeneFits Portfolio by Blue Cross Life & Health
Blue Cross has a new small group plan it’s called BeneFits!
The newest product by Blue Cross of California is the BeneFits Portfolio. You may be asking yourself as a small business owner, “Why would I be interested in this BeneFits Plan?” Well, if your company doesn't have good participation in the benefits that you offer. Meaning many of them sign up for the plan and then cancel right away or there is high turnover in your employees then this plan may help streamline this process or at least make it easier for you.
If you are the business owner and you do not or can not afford to offer a group medical plan… well this plan has a lower contribution level and the choice of dental or life insurance is optional. These are just a few of the perks of this new small group medical policy, there are many more such as looking at how long enrollment takes to sign up an entire group can be very time-consuming, this portfolio of plan options are all online. Even the enrollment is done online. So with the BeneFits the service is great along with the new features.

- Client Choices – The portfolio has five plan to choose from.
- Lower Contribution Levels – Possibly as low as 25% or $50 per employee, per month.
- Lower Employee Participation – 60% participation is possible with this plan. (Based on a case by case basis.)
- Employer Options - Flexibility to find the right fit for your company.
- Low Rates – Low rates but great benefits.
- Guaranteed Issue – Qualified clients cannot be denied coverage in the State of California for a Small Group Plan.

- PPO $35 Copay GenRX Plan
- Power Select HMO Plan
